Ph.D. Project

The effects of working in old age on mental health (Funded by Forschungsnetzwerk Alterssicherung, FNA)

The project investigates how continued employment after retirement affects older adults' mental health, situated within a cross-national comparative framework spanning diverse welfare regimes across Europe, North America, and Asia.

Phase 1 (current): A descriptive analysis of post-retirement workers across 30+ countries, comparing their demographic, health, and educational characteristics across four welfare regime types.
